    ... a lot brighter. The last stretch down to the station now. Josh made himself a giant snowball, lachy was still sucking on his giant icicle from the lake. We walked off the track up a hill to then be greeted by another view down into the valley. Huge snowballs rolled down hills, snow angels were made by all 3 and we walked the last stretch.     After having a rubbish nights sleep, going to bed drunk on 3 different types of beer, and the basement pub/bar/nightclub music going to till the wee hours, sleeping on a mattress flat as a pancake, I was rearing to go this morning! What an experience. We flew over Interlaken, and above several eagles which was pretty cool. It was so hard to comprehend the sense of scale when you're up in the air surrounded by snow ...

    ... and head out into the dark. Oh and I forgot to mention that it had started dumping snow while we were eating. We find the entrance to the sled run, thanks to Caitlin having skiied this part of the mountain earlier, and start to head out. We begin slowly, sinking and walking the sleds more than riding them due to the five inches of fresh powder and only slight slope of the run, but eventually start picking up speed.     ... thigh level rope to help pull you up (or slow you down when you're headed out). It is single file so you have to take turns with people leaving. Once at the top, there is a big open room with tables and a walk up counter/bar. Lunch was 1 bowl of vegetable soup, sausage, a beer, and bottle of water for $25. But WOW what a view!!
