Today we toured the porcelain factory on Meissen. Harry looked while I bought :). Because of demand for Chinese porcelain this factory was built in the mid 1700's..the first outside of Asia. Of course,it was incredibly beautiful and breathtakingly priced, but the artistry can't be topped. Last night we stayed in a stellplatze about 4 feet from the rivers edge. ... town of Pirna then got a train back. Pirna was a typical larger town with many charming old buildings, town square, cobblestone walkways, churches etc, so hard to take! The public transport in this country is most efficient, back to our hotel was so easy. Sunday was a much more strenuous day.
