... Birthe and Christian walked Ronja while Andi, Craig, Karin and I walked to the village pub. While here we had a couple of bailey's and Andi had a Paderborner gold beer. ... this area due to the bitter cold winters and snow - if I recall. Birthe said can get up to -30degrees!! Hence the high pitched rooves of the houses so the snow doesn't settle.
