Went for a walk down through the town for late brekky/lunch. Come back to hotel about 1300 and started to pack suit cases and get things organized for our journey up to visit Ricarda in Greifswald. Had a afternoon nap. Went down to bar at 1800 and caught up with Narelle n Gerrard from Darwin. Had tea with them in hotel and went back to their room until midnight. Great night ...

We first visited the "Top of Salzburg", the highest viewing platform in Austria at 3029 meters (9940 feet)! It was very cold outside at only 39 F, but we didn't care because the Austrian Alps were spread out before us.

      We next went through ...

... and laying down in the grass far below us. I think they must have been Chamois, based on what I can find on the internet on animals in the Alps. But only the babies had the distinctive face markings Chamois are supposed to have.

Then we continued on the road, through two tunnels (Stollen), to get to the Hochtor. After that we had to go back down some more switchbacks. The road was getting busier so we got stuck in a long line of cars. But amazingly there were a ...
