A long day today, a two hour drive to Chiemsee to take a boat across the lake to Herrenchiemsee the last of the castles built for Ludwig II that we are going to see on our tour. We make a stop in Bad Toelz on the way to shop for a takeaway lunch and have an excellent coffee and cake. The boat ride is only 15 minutes then we get a horse and carriage to the castle itself. I just had apple strudel and Val had potato soup. We then walked into town ...

... theme park with amusements. The best fun was had on the trampolines and climbing walls. Got soaked in a water ride before we left for the hotel. Every Wednesday night during the summer there is entertainment in the town centre. We went after dinner even though it was pouring rain. Traditional Austrian band on stage but we didn't stay ...

Overcast day but dry and not cold. Headed for Wildlife Aurach. A nature park with a lot of native animals up in the mountains about 20 mins away. Had a good time again. Went back to the hotel again for lunch and went to Hornpark for the afternoon. It is up the Kitzbühler Horn. It is an obstacle course up in the trees with zip lines etc. lads loved ...
