... highlights of our little tour was when we stopped at one of the stalls that was selling candle light covers of various designs. One in particular had a design of sailing ships and lighthouses to which Johanna's mother exclaimed "Urgh, so typisch Norddeutsch"....having experienced as much of Germany as I had, this internal joke reminiscent of England's North-South divide gave me a warm chuckle.

eyesore and reminds me of Edinburgh's eyesore parliament and should never have
been allowed to be built here.
After a great walk around this area of the city I could not help noticing a
wonderful German coffee shop over in the corner and so it was over to get one of
my beloved Mocha coffees.

... br> But our first stop of the morning was on the outskirts at the Mercedes Benz factory, where Ted got to see one of the assembly plants for Rob. Unfortunately the tours are only in German and weren't running on a Saturday, so again, we had to be contented with the view from the outside, but at least we can say we were there.

... worked on a presentation for the next day, before finally making it to Elena's apartment, which was located just a few tram stops away from my old house. The next day they had class early, and so I had a lie in before making my way over to the Überseestadt to carry out some filming for my university work at home.
Friday was quite a successful day, it started off with taking lots of videos and pictures for university, as well as my first requirement ...
... city in the warmest temperatures since I had arrived back in September, followed by myself cooking a meal for them and my friends at the house. On Tuesday I went with them to Hamburg before coming back and spending the rest of my time packing all my things for home.
I then met with my landlord who gave me back my deposit, before waiting in the house with my housemates and leaving Bremen by coach at midnight.
