... at the idea of going in naked. In Austria, being naked or having men and women mixed was not a big deal, as I had seen earlier by the lack of segregated change rooms. And I had noticed that young people were less self conscious about their bodies. Overweight girls were in bikinis here and didn't seem to care or feel threatened by skinny girls in bikinis. Nobody cared. Even I can't go out in a bikini, and these girls are doing it haha.

I've been going about a mile a minute since getting here, so getting to settle down and write a quality blog post has been quite a struggle. A lot of cool things have happened over the past few days, so here we go. On Friday, I had the opportunity to visit Kunsthaus Graz, a museum in the middle of the city. Today was the day. After 2 years of planning it was finally time to head to the airport and say goodbye to my home for about 6 months. Not really sure what I felt making my way to YYC airport, but it was definitely a healthy mix of nerves, "holy sh*t" and "wow, I'm finally on my own." It was a great send off, Saskatoon berry waffles and gingerbread coffee with mom. Unfortunately dad was stuck in Atlanta where two inches of snow has paralyzed the city ...

Hartberg is a very cute little town and our hotel is beautiful! Situated next to the castle, the Alter Gerischtof is sophisticatedly decorated and very well presented. My room is rather large! With big bay windows that open out onto a balcony. The bed is SO comfortable I literally feel like I'm sleeping in a marshmallow. Breakfast is alright... No toast though. And you have to pay for eggs! So I guess it's another week of eating muesli!! On ...
