      ... cycling, Roger Federer, the Tour de France, and laughed and laughed, probably to the annoyance of the other reserved patrons. We exchanged selfies and au revoirs and went our separate ways fonder of one another's countries (I like to think) just by virtue of a casual conversation.

      We spent the morning exploring Oostende by bicycle. The town
      is extremely neat and clean and really quite a nice place to be. We essentially
      made a circuit that included the beach front and parts of the city. The beach
      is long, wide and sandy and actually reminded me a lot of our beach back home

      ... the Sofitel for a drink and a view of the city. Amazing view of this fortified city, the Grund is an area build in the gorge with rock walls scattered with "hiddie holes" for when the baddies come! We intend to explore this area today.       ... fire vehicle) down the mountain. We got to ride in the front, and she was quite excited about that. The others came down right after us in a small fire department owned vehicle that wasn't nearly as exciting. The excitement of it all carried Bryn through the walk home from the bus stop too. So, not only did we successfully (we hope) burn away winter, we also managed an excursion where nobody had to carry Bryn for any of the walking!
