Then onto a Salsa club with much dancing and knocking people out the way. A very naughty trouble maker.

The final club where Jamie and I managed to distroy over 30 glasses with a miss timed spin.

Happy Thanksgiving

... distance train ride so that was an interesting experience. I couldn't even figure how to get out of my cabin, much less the train! Eventually I managed though, suitcase, pretzel salad and all. My pretzel salad got a bit soggy during transport but it was okay I suppose, not as good as my moms though. This holiday season is going to be a little bit difficult for me but I'm glad for the fact that I have family and friends nearby still! I love and miss you all!

Geneva to Paris to Sedan to Bastogne

... arrived on time. The sky was overcast most of the way so there wasn’t much to see, and the plane was very full in any event, so I couldn’t see much from my aisle seat. Since I had officially left from France, there were no formalities on arrival.

I picked up my rental car, a Renault Clio (diesel), which is much larger than the early models used to be. I left immediately for the Sedan area about 3 ½ hours to the north-east, stopping briefly for lunch on the roadside ...

Our Day in the Country

... We then made our way to our host's house. It was easily found. Upon ringing the doorbell, you instantly heard the 3 dogs barking. We came inside and were greeted by them all. Two dogs were hers and one belongs to the neighbor. They were Phoebe, Spoogy, and Nina. Our host was Karyn (I think I'm spelling it right).

We got our things settled in and then left with them to take the dogs on a long walk. There is ...

City in the trees

Of course I needed to visit Luxembourg, hiding away there between France, Germany and Belgium. It is the fifith smallest country in the world. It is very hilly and surrounded by trees. The hostel is down at the bottom of a cliff, yay! The city of course is quite small, but it is surrounded by ruins and forest which makes it quite a unique city in amongst the hustle and crowds of all the other major cities. The people there speak French and their own language, Luxembourgish I suppose.

Loooong Day

... and still didn't feel good, so we went shopping without her. We stopped at H and M because it was having really good sales, but I didn't find anything. We then went to Promod and I still didn't find anything. I was a little bummed. We then walked around a little bit and found something to eat. I got a kebab, but it wasn't really that good. We walked back to the hotel, and internetted. I then went up to my room and rested for a little ...

Portsmouth to Luxembourg

Left the ****** UK weather behind and embrace the apparently global Euro-Warming. Arrive en Hesperange campsite, 5km from Luxembourg city and head straight to the pub. Its only fair having driven for 5 hours with a hyperactive excited 14 year old! Somehow, the said 14 year old managed to ...

GOA Week 1

... find myself a little spot. After 25 minutes of searching in vain for a temporary al fresco latrine, I have finally found myself the required solitude and privacy to do my business!! I unzip and am about to work away when i hear a rustle in the bushes to my right. HHmm, this could be a rat, I thought. I peered over through the covered trees. To my amazement, I see a turban rising out of the long grass with a bearded gentleman underneath. Whether he is cutting the grass or ...

... Casemates - tunnels and chambers dug to further fortify Luxembourg city. Saw Notre Dame church and walked along the park at the bottom of the valley where we found an old church built into the side of the hill. Luxembourg is a beautiful medieval valley.
