Our dinner was also PHENOMENAL. I had never seen or heard of Raclette before, but it's a do-it-yourself style dinner where you put anything you want on a miniature pan and cook it underneath a small stove until the cheese fully melts onto everything you want it to. Today was our last full day in Europe...and it was basically spent travelling!
We had to get going by 8.30 this morning in order to arrive at the airport in time to sort out the car and check in for our flights. We had the usual breakfast - Eli wasn't so keen to blow his egg so hard out of its shell. Hans was sitting at our table and we chatted a bit together. Who thought that a sense of humour is rare in Germany? Did you know that Frankfurt is known as Bankfurt as it is the finance capital of Germany.
In summary, Frankfurt city is interesting enough, but not enough to draw me back to the city. But I'd love to do the zoo again!
