A couple weeks ago Lorena, my Italian friend and I went on a little trip to Central Argentina. We camped in a National Park near Cordoba. The trip was AMAZING and we saw many cool things. The highlight of our trip was seeing the condors in the gorge. For those who do not know condors are the largest flying birds in the world. They weigh up to 26lbs, have a wingspan of 6-9ft and can soar in the air for hours ...

... often, it’s about time too. Happy I did Buenos Aires first and now more central and calmer cities to think more about my time-off, my plans and where I want to go.

Next stop Mendoza. Wine, excursions, nature and my first horse ...

I had a ball of dulce de leche which is the thing everybody eats all the ...

... kebabs, bread, salad,
all you could eat, along with drinks! We shared it with a really nice
Spanish couple + a german girl Monja, who had just arrived from Bolivia,
where she was robbed! Poor girl! It was really nice to sit around after
dinner + chat, hear other peoples travel stories + reccomendations!
Around 12ish people started to sneak off to bed, but
not us! Broc + the guy Sebastian, who made dinner stayed up drinking!
We went next door ...

Gettin hungry

A travel blog entry by andyandott on Nov 22, 2012

After getting up whenever we felt like it (pretty late then) we took our time getting packed up as we had a few hours to kill before our bus at 2 in the afternoon.

We went for dinner at a local diner. I think we should do that a lot more often as the food was pretty good and its a lot more cost effective than other tourist restaurants. For a start it doesn´t charge a ´cubierto´charge on top of all the food costs like all the more ...
