This morning berthed at the side of the Rhine close to Cologne Cathedral. Had a look round it and then just wandered about the streets. Off to lunch now. While we are at lunch the boat is having to move to the other bank of the river. From there we are getting a city tour. Not much view through our porthole at our morning berth. Lol. Went on the city tour. Quite interesting. Didn't bother with more sightseeing ...

So we kinda started a cult....

So I may go back and do a post for the first day/getting there, but for now, nah. So today's been a good day so far, Koda woke me up at about 12:30 (half an hour after he woke up himself). ... besides a giant Segway gang, since the weather was crummy. We got a recommendation (from a Düsseldorfer named Iman, Chris' mutual friend from 2 unrelated parties) to go to a classic German restaurant called Uerige- with authentic food. We ordered gouda cheese, pickled eggs (they brought out a guide of how to prepare these in German and explained it to us in German) ...
