A Day for Chores
As predicted, it was a stormy night but apart from waking up a couple of times, we had a good night, despite the occasional heavy rain (that's what woke me) and strong winds. By the morning, most clouds had gone and it was sunny but pretty windy, absolutely not the sort of weather that I would chose to venture out to sea in, the waves breaking over the breakwater were enough to put me off.

A Grumpy Skipper
... wasn’t a whole lot to see. At one point, Hasle was an important fishing port and it does have quite substantial quays and docks but now it has a forlorn air about it and we really didn’t want to stay, despite the convenience of the loos and the good wifi. We did find a nice church which had an impressive altar (see photos) but that was pretty much it. So we decided to have lunch and then go, as the wind was now beginning to increase.
