Her partner is a Surveyor with dual German-Canadian citizenship which allows him to work anywhere within the EU. It was a fun ride chatting away and in no time we were in Salzburg. ... which we did and we found ourselves in First Class. We decided to wait for the ticket man to tell us which way to go to get to the second class ticket places. He never showed so we settled in and enjoyed basically a carriage to ourselves, plenty of space and comfy seats. The train reached 200kph on the way, but felt very smooth. We caught the tram up to Telfes which added an extra hour to our trip but this was up the other side of the valley that we had not travelled on ...
