The long way to Ijmuiden

... last few days heading along the boring m/ways I simply sat at 120kph (@70mph) or so but at times on the German autobahn I had to open her and race along with the hi speed traffic or sit behind a slow truck. Here she quite happily sat bombing along at 100mph and I even saw 120mph at one point.
The engine might be fine at these speeds but with the semi off-road tyres I have fitted its a little unstable at hi speed so best keep it to about 70 or 80mph.

... asleep tonight, we will wake up in the morning and my cousin Carolyn will be here to pick us up!! We are traveling to Dusseldorf, Germany with her and are staying in her hotel! I cannot wait for a hot shower, warm bed, and somewhere to wash my clothes!!

Amsterdam has been amazing! We've met some pretty cool people, gained a lot of independence and seen a lot of really amazing things! Cannot wait to see what the rest of the week holds! Bye for ...

... because it's so cold and there is not a lot of sunlight, she goes there and enjoys the humidity. So we decided to head there. Unfortunately it closed at 5pm. We were absolutely soaked by this time, again. And there was a coffee shop across the road which lucky for us had no one inside and therefore no smoke to get high on. After a much needed night's sleep and a good Dutch breakfast, I set out for a busy day. On Rick's advice, I tried getting tickets for the major museums online ahead of time.
