Green and away I go across this massive junction of trams and all. I found it rather hard at these large junctions to actually understand where I was meant to go and so simply just followed the bicycles and cars etc and finally parked up beside another large bike in a rather busy shopping street.

... after such a long day. We chose the vegetarian special Nasi of Bami Rames (aka veggie combo) and a side order of spring rolls. The combo included Gado-gado, string beans, toasted coconut, sambal goring tahu-tempeh, atjar tjampur, noodles, and the best-ever vegetarian satay. ... seems compared with a lot of the places here. Naomi & I cooked some lunch then took the bikes for a cruise around Vondelpark and hen into town where we parked up & then wandered the streets for a few hours. Very busy, cool, cosmopolitan kind of place. Didn't venture into the seedy parts of town (apparently better done at night, with a local).
