There isn’t much to report from yesterday. It was basically a rest day that involved wandering around Morbegno’s streets as well as running a few personal errands.

Dinner was with Marina’s cousins again for more magnificent home-made food. This time it was some succulent turkey & chicken with chips, followed by bread, cheese & salami, and then a home-made tira misu. This was of course followed by a healthy serving ...

Private property, we can't go that way. We make our way back toward the piazza and come across an elderly gent sitting outside his house. In the literature that Roger had seen the villa was only open for ...

... track to the car - about 250 metres but rough, a little up and down but nothing like the our track to the piazza on the main road. But it does have one very steep set of stairs going under a house that is always a trial. We drive to Bellagio because we can catch the car ferry across the lake and then drive down the lakeside to the village of Agrengo. We decide to park the car in a real car parking area near the church. It is only a short walk for the boys and the girls are ...

... you were gazing. She assured me that during late Spring and throughout Summer this is still the case.

She came out later and showed us a picture on her camera taken this Spring just to prove it. How stunning! Imagine the site of this combined with all the flowering oleander, magnolia, rhododendrons, azaleas etc... PLUS their sweet fragrances. We really do need to come back!

We left the café and walked up steep steps close by into ...
