Arrived safely in Munich. All went well but we're very tired. Got here about 5 pm (althoguh our watches showed it was only 9 am in California). So tonight will be an early night. Flight went well; Lufthansa has nice service and still provide lots of freebies like snacks, wine, meals, etc. Our luggage even came out first so not a lot of waiting. Arrived to Munich and walked the few blocks to our Sheraton, we are able to stay free with points which is great for the budget, your basic western style nice hotel. You know those round lighted mirrors, boy do they show a lot of detail! Too much information for me; I guess it is good to catch up on grooming, obviously some work to do.

... time. I managed to consume an entire 500 page book on the 6 hour journey. Someone help me! We arrived late in Paris and hit up a kebab shop for dinner before bed.

And so Laurens time in Europe came to a very sad (for me) end. We did a little shopping for gifts in Paris, went out for a final meal together and then said a tough goodbye. Lauren if your reading this I'm glad you came! Now its off to the UK for me and a more than 30 hour journey back to Aus for Lauren.
