... bike drink bottle. We spent quite a bit of time in the cycling department looking at all the different things you can buy here for a bike. We also took quite a few Schuster related pictures and joined the store's club. We had a lovely lunch of Caesar salad followed by an afogato for Sue and strawberries and mascarpone cream. Richard also had the obligatory local beer. This was consumed at a classic outdoor sidewalk cafe. Our tour began below the ...

As expected, we both woke up feeling pretty ropey, with Kim feeling particularly sorry for herself. We checked out as late as possible, but had still only got about 5 hour's use out of our beds. ... called housekeeping again and found that it was indeed ready for us. We had booked a junior suite which was a great room - high up on the top floor, split-level with a loft upstairs for sleeping, with nice windows - overlooking the Hauptbahnhof, but high enough up that you could see lots of the city as well. After settling in for a few, we decided to head out sightseeing again.

We took the U-bahn a few stops to the Hofgarten, and wandered through the ...

I always think a city has to have/be a number of things
walkable, safe, fantastic buildings, culture, shopping
and this city has the lot, in spades.
For example, they have a surf-spot in a park in the middle of the city-how cool is that?
And, of course, they have the biggest beer hall in Europe, a medieval town ...
