... the day. With so many hands the work was light and never disagreeable...although I realized quickly that being able to build a fire is not an ability I have mastered. Ken can build a sizable cooking fire in under 15 minutes, and I mean hot and ready for cooking. Me on the other hand...well thankfully Ken was there to fix it or we would have been much hungrier people. We weren't really roughing it other than cooking, the shower ...

... lived. It was a very beautiful ride up the lift, a beautiful walk up to the castle, and then from the top of the castle was a beautiful view of the city and mountains.

... so nice, quiet, and calm here. The city is in the country side, which makes it all the more appealing to me!
I have noticed that people here a lot more quieter and polite... and I feel like a loud mouth baboon talking and walking down the street!
I get to rent a bike and shop around today! I am looking forward to seeing what the day ...

... for me at least totally enjoyable and a learning experience to boot. There are a ton of pictures to go with as well as a few of Nanako's beautiful flower garden and idyllic potting shed. The garden itself is situated along a busy roadway and open for anyone to stop and smell the roses, literally. As usual I am behind on my writings and tidings but when I find myself with free time lately..on the train or after work...there are usually other things to occupy me (sleeping and eating to name a few). And boy does this next farm have some positive reccomendations in the way of food.
