... and in the tree next to my motorhome is a nest with four young thrushes. In the distance a cuckoo is calling and if I look up I can see the snow clad mountains. The icing on the cake is that it is even warm enough to sit outside in shorts. So I am thoroughly content. Unfortunately Treacle is not quite so content as she is not getting exercise and in her boredom she has chewed her way thorough the hose pipe that forms part of the site irrigation system - how embarrassing.

The frontier with Spain is just at edge of Andorra la vella and its a long way to Spanish coast up and down many mountains. You would want good brakes and not be scared of sheer drops at edge of road.
It must be beautiful during skiing season but I would recommend it in Summer too they have a lot of building crammed into gaps between the hills. ...

Caroline and I drove to Spain for the long weekend It's about a 3 and a half hour drive so we decided to stay two nights. We had lunch in Cadeux on the way. It's a beautiful old seaside village. We stayed at Empuriobrava, and drove to Roses and Cadeax the next day. They were very narrow, windy roads. Through the mountains to the coast. It was worth the trip, but I wouldn't like to be there in summer. It is so crowded. ...
