The rain last night came down in stair rods, we had music playing almost at full volume and could just hear it, it finally stopped at about 2am and what a relief. This morning is bright and clear and the sun is beginning to caress the mountain tops above the city and dry things out. We have really enjoyed our stay in Andorra La Vella and this morning we walked into town for the last time. Today rain is threatened by mid afternoon, so we have taken advantage of this and have put the washing in so it will be completed on our return. First we went into a shop that sells bike racks, no one spoke English but we worked out measurements and pointed to heads to show we'd ...

Start of with Ola and finish ordering with mercie beaucoup!! Wish everyone spoke the same language, especially here, most speak Spanish. Time for a ...

... completely off the road and landed strangely on its wheels about 50 feet down in a small brook and they were shutting the road on the 3rd to get it out. Words are rather inadequate to describe the totally fabulous views, with the sun shining and the Gypsy Kings belting it out, it was great. They also have some great tunnels and the final one we chose had the entrance refurbished and we had a choice of the mountain road or this tunnel, so we went ...

From Cadaques to the cowshed at La Seu d'Urgell

... quite some effort but eventually we found our way to the bridge and thus to our rural lodgings. This was a dairy farm with a serious barnyard waft but the room was comfortable and large. We went into the town for dinner, and found a busy streetlife and a congenial tapas bar and amiable barman who produced some tasty calamari & excellent olives (& some very good wine!).

The senora at the farm house provided a good breakfast in a room full ...
