... hadn't seen this part of my family for 8.5 years! Their house is amazing too- and the view of the train and the mountains- wow! We had an amazing dinner of parmigiano aubergine made by Ilaria and then tried all sorts of cheeses and looked at photos from when they were last in NZ when I was 11 months old! Such lovely photos. I headed out of direction, just a few kilometers then I turned and headed back. Tried another road but the took me back up the mountain, so I turned around. Tried another road, still no signs, so I pulled into a service station and asked. Si si (pointing the way ...

Best driving experience?

So I have to admit that I included the Stelvio Pass on this trip after seeing the guys from Top Gear driving it, and although they did it in super cars I knew it would be a good drive on the bike as well.

Getting there from München wasn't as straight forward as I had hoped, but then again when you drive without a GPS and rely on your memory and a few screenshots you might end up a little lost ...
