... this year we were told. Talk about luck. So we went on inside and I said to Dave "I wonder if Mark Chong is competing?" We watched a few races and then I spotted Mark, I was sure it was him, I really don't know how though as the all look the same with their skin suits and helmets on. When he won by more than half a lap I knew it must have been Mark I couldn't make out what the announcer was saying, but Dave thought he said Mark's name, then I spotted ...

Hi this is my first ever blog entry so apologies for any rookie mistakes! I'm going to write about my recent stay in Livigno ski resort, in the Italian Alps. I stayed there from the 22nd March to the 29th (2015)

... Austria looking for a bloody sign. They don't have many. As you approach a town you'd think you will just follow the road straight through and come out on the other side. Not so.

Several towns have a lack of signs with road numbers or bigger cities, so I had to stop a couple of times and go into a petrol station and look at their maps - pretending to want to buy one - and then I had some ...

... the heart of the city, with its lively pedestrian street full of tourists... gellaterias... a large cathedral... a little castle on a hilltop and a lively stream running right through the city... another pedestrain street with classy carved bushes cut to look like a piano, a guy on a bicycle. Yep... I've left the rustic charm of the Alps behind and back to the more sophisticated grandeur of urban Italy. But I will go ...
