... couldn't be greater, here we are n miles from land with very little water and in Norway, you can be 50 yards from land and have over a hundred metres under you!

Once we were on our downwind leg, we arranged the sails in a goose-wing and for 38 or more miles, we sailed this way. It is very relaxing when the genoa is poled out (remember the Skagerrak?) and the main is out on the other side with a preventer ( a bit of rope) to stop it ...

... cute room with a pirate theme. Explored the park/campground: it's HUGE! Lots of fun things to see and do. Maggie had fun at the playground on the zip line and the "bouncing airbag/trampoline " thingy. Buffet supper at the hotel and then we actually "Vegged " in front of the TV! Mostly those foreign language channels but eventually found "The Big Bang Theory " and we're in ...

... The sculptures weren't secured and some of them were only small - we couldn't believe that nobody had nicked them for what seems to be a very long time. ... relentless. Within minutes, my cargos were too wet to put the over pants on, so all I could do was put the thermal lining back in the jacket and shiver my way to Billund. I arrived in Billund just as it stopped raining where I found a small burger joint. I located somewhere to park, jumped off the bike and emptied the water out of the bottom of both my shoes. ... The picture that was taken showed Ida and I chatting and Anna and Alf talking together as well.

We also strolled over to the 4D cinemas and watched a 10 minute movie....thank goodness it was in English! Ida bought me a little Lego keyring at the end of the day so I could take a memory home, which was really sweet.
