First we rode a commuter train, while we all sat together at one end of the carriage as Petra explained some background for todays visit. "Mad King Ludwig" was a big admirer of Louis XIV of France. Ludwig's father was very strict, they had to put down their cutlery when their father ...

Today started out a little slow. Manu came over with bread and sliced meats for breakfast. She then made some coffee while I took a picture of the birds on her bird feeder. I discovered (or perhaps had forgotten) that there’s an enormous underground mall there and it seemed ...

... where soon my lungs would inhale the carbon monoxide which would crystallise inside my respiratory system and death by suffocation would swiftly follow. Finished. My emaciated body either incinerated or dumped on top of thousands of others in a great big pile. The nazis would take away the prison uniform from my corpse, disinfect it and then hand it out to the next prisoner beginning their internment. At best, these events are very complex. There are many questions here. Like why ...

... forest. Unfortunately the day was foggy and cold so the grandeur of the structure was slightly lost. In saying that it honestly looks like a fairy tale interpretation of a castle and I could definitely see how it influenced Walt disney's Cinderella castle. It was a lovely day trip and I would definitely recommend it, especially if the weather is sunny. We had a lovely day and went to bed quite early as we plan to visit Vienna via Salzburg the next day and were a little ...
