    Visited Dachau Concentration Camp just outside Munich. Was a somber experience as expected, but certainly worthwhile. The words on the gate in the photo mean "work will set you free".     ... heart-shaped gingerbread cookie that said 'schatz' on it (which means treasure :)) to complete my outfit.     ... there was a small parade and lots of music as the official start to Oktoberfest began. Not long after the steins were flowing. The steins were made of sturdy glass and carried 1L of great German beer, I am not a fan of beer but it was good! Everyone was enjoying their steins and singing and dancing on the tables.
