      Oktoberfest!

... were able to get a table that we stayed at for the rest of the day.
I think our table was actually the first one to be served our Steins (the liter glasses of beer), and yes, this was at 9am. The tent crowded more and more and soon enough, everyone had a beer in hand. Passing the picture postcard villages on the train reminded me of these cute little shacks we saw on the Danube cruise. God bless all who were affected by this shameful act of humanity and may it always be remembered so that never again will it happen. We visited ...

Everyone is beginning to get into the routine of 7.15 breakfast, 7.45 bags to coach and 8am departure. Today more so than ever as everyone is excited with the anticipation of Oktoberfest but there are a number of activities first. A small walking tour and a bike tour of Munich, which was definitely one of my favourite parts. The bike tour showed us some important buildings in german history and a beautiful park, that is larger than Central Park ...

2hr train journey from Neuburg to Munich today, but totally worth it! Checked in to my hotel and went to a new organic supermarket down the road for some food to nibble on :). Right now I'm sitting in the bath with a glass of wine, absolute bliss, and well deserved at that! My ankle has gone down a lot, but is still a funny ...
