Hamish and I took a train and bus up to Each-Sur- Sure. A very pretty region that is part of one of the Luxembourg National Parks. The trees were past there autumn best, but still pretty. We started off by exploring the castle... now a well preserved ruin, that sits above a town that is in the"u" bend of the river Sure. Then we walked along the river banks towards Lultzhausen. It was a track some ...

... again for our Viking compatriots) in order to by-pass Koblenz. We called it quits in a little town of Urlay as we found a very nice and quiet pension on the river. Cochem would have been nice but it was crawling with those damn tourists LOL. The experience was wonderful and the town a delight. ... I asked Cooper to try plugging in the power strip we brought from USA to give us more access to outlets to charge our devices ( despite the fact that when we tried using it our first night at our hotel in London it blew the fuse). This home seemed more modern, and France isn't England... Needless to say, the lights all went out. And, the water stopped flowing... We hunted around feverishly for over 30 minutes with ...

... area. Other than that it's pretty lonely up here. My room is like an apartment on the third floor (it was a struggle getting all my luggage up all those steps) it's actually pretty nice and quaint. But I just don't know what I'm allowed doing downstairs or not yet. I guess I will find out soon.
I am very excited for tomorrow to get out and go exploring and have this wonderful experience with my friends. But for now I guess it's just a chill day.

We had a pretty tasty breakfast at the hotel, and the staff there were fantastic. Overall the hotel is great and incredibly good value for money...
Our drive to Luxembourg is an easy couple of hours through the beautiful German scenery. Of course the Autobahn doesn't feel like your going that fast especially when everyone else is going fast too. We got up to speeds between 160-180.....unreal really haha! Certainly makes travel times easy. The drivers are pretty good too. ...
