... the tour was really interesting! There was a lovely story about the Duke and his wife who used to sing all the time, but who was actually a mermaid. When she was discovered she jumped out the window and has never been seen since. But every seven years you can hear her sing.  I like stories like that. Next hotel and I found myself heading round in circles and when I saw the hotel I was right over on the wrong side of a packed 4 lane road and no chance of getting across.

After wasting over an hour in this city I decided to punch "Interlaken" into my GPS and head for Switzerland, I had had enough of this mad traffic city!!

... time, apparently we found the back door before. It was rather impressive with its balconies, large windows and a guard marching up and down. The flag was not flying now, so he must have left the building.

We eventually found a cafe with air-conditioning near our hotel so we went in and had a well deserved beer and after cooling down we returned to the hotel.

From our trusty map we realised that Luxembourg city centre is surrounded by parks encompassing the city ...
