      ... the back for our foresightedness in reserving rooms in advance, and looked forward to enjoying ourselves in Gelsenkirchen.

      Wrong, very wrong.

      Stories soon appeared on various Irish fans fora about how Gelsenkirchen is a dull place with nothing to do. "Scaremongering and sour grapes", I thought. Gelsenkirchen could not be all that bad if it was a World Cup host city and a venue for a Champions League Final, could it?


      Next year August I will be on my way!

      ... Europe into the southern hemisphere, to South Africa and South America, and when it gets colder there, I will be on my way up to the northern hemisphere again. North America and North-East Asia, and when seasons change again, I go south to Australia. When I get back to Europe it shall become summer here again. That is a whole lot of sun for me. :-)
