Today was to be the longest of them all, with 115kms covered, to reach Warka. The ride was started early, at 8:30am, and the breakfast was had on the parking of a gas station, while the iPhone was charging on a wall plug. Not very sexy, but couldn't waste much time. ... place was a sandy roller coaster like road or track or even 4WD testing ground!!! This continued for about 2 kilometres and we both fought hard to try and ride through it as riding is faster than pushing, I hadn't expected this and the map did show a road. Can you believe people actually live down this road, some houses look like holiday homes as the Pilica is close by but other houses looked like they had permanent residents. ... replaced the tube and used the 10 cent pump (eventually) to pump the tyre up. To this hour, I believe that tyre is still pumped up firmly. We then left the main road and went on a tortuous ride through the back blocks of Central Poland, what was Maciej thinking! Through several small, dog barking villages, through semi swampland and eventually up onto a railway bridge with two sets of rail tracks and pedestrian walkways each side! ...

... yliśmy. Pakowanie, wielkie odliczanie i upragniony odjazd. Klakson na całą ulice, machanie białymi chusteczkami i łzy z jednej i drugiej strony.

Akcja była na tyle wzruszająca, że po tankowaniu, postanowiliśmy wrócić i ją powtórzyć, a przy okazji zabrać wkłady do lodówki, które zostały w zamrażarce…a następnie jeszcze raz po telefon Moni.
