    ... one. The compartments have 8 seats, and so the seats are narrower, and there's only one arm rest in the middle of each side. However, the train wasn't busy, and we shared our other 6 seats with a young woman and her large, cute dog.

    ... of paper and the farmers wife and her husband became quite animated. So the First Lady and the farmers wife marched us across these paddocks through locked gates etc- I started to think - something has gone wrong here - no cemetery in sight. So we get to these trees in the middle of nowhere and sure enough it's a tiny cemetery . When we found our relative's grave we couldn't believe it!!! Really touching ...

    We met a lovely couple over breakfast who told us how Poland had changed and how poor it used to be. Now it has a fabulous infra structure and is quite modern - only in some of the country towns can you see the remainder of some of the poverty.
