... in the 1700’s they were so disgustingly bally. If it is one thing that I really, really hate it is bally sheets. It would be bad enough if your sheets at home were bally as they would be uncomfortable but you would at least know if they were clean or not …. but when they are in rented accommodation they just feel dirty. ... to the back bar onto a raised area to stand and enjoy the music. Dutch people are tall, really tall, so if you're of standard height you might want to get there early so you can see, or wiggle your way through to the front like we did.
All in all a great little club with a pizzeria attached to the side if you get peckish. Reasonable drinks and a friendly atmosphere.

... turns and I got incredibly lost after each one then had to struggle to find my way back. I lost some of my maps to the wind and someone made an inappropriate comment to me then followed me a couple blocks.
Later on we went to the Anne Frank house. I'm happy that we did this today because it put things into perspective. Yeah I had an unfortunate day, but things could be a lot worse. I'm happy to be in Amsterdam and I'm ready to make the most out of my final days here.
