... for tomorrow's disembarkation. One set of friends remarks that they'd noticed I'd been absent for a while - and ask if I've been feeling well. I thank them for their concern and let them know that yes - I'd had a touch of the flu and had been confined to the stateroom for a few days. ... We wanted to rent a bike and be one with the locals but we were too intimidated. We (I) deduced that cars yield to bikes, people yield to cars and everybody yield to trams. Thus, we were at the bottom of the food chain constantly being alllmost hit by bikes and trams and cars the entire weekend =]

... to the Heineken Experience factory where we met up with the rest of the girls! Afterwards Dad took us out for a drink at a little bar where we got some appetizers too! We walked around for the rest of the day with the girls and my parents and then met up at a restaurant for dinner! I got a burger but it tasted a little weird, I didn't like it. ... through. Had a wonderful lunch at a small bistro, great crepes from a small stand and excellent salads for dinner on the harbor. Very tired, of course -- no sleep on the flight, but caught a short nap between lunch and dinner at our simple but very adequate motel. A few pix below. ... the middle of it. One side of the mirror was a makeup mirror and the other side was a full-length dressing mirror. A bright blue delft ceramic bowl was our sink. Small under cabinet storage was on both sides of the vanity. The desk area was also cool. It was totally wrapped in black leather and so was the mini drawer bar. It had a very modern radio and 3 desk lights and was once again a replica of a shelf in a library.The Andaz even provided European electrical conversion ...
