Well, our trip has come and gone and now we are in Cagliari, Sardinia, Italy, waiting for our flights home tomorrow. We opted to stay in an American chain hotel near the airport, so there's not much for us to do today. We plan to just rest up and pack as we've got about 24 hours of travelling to do before we get home tomorrow night.

... off the shrimp. After lunch, walked down 125 curved marble steps of the bastion back down to Cagliari where I did a little shopping for the Canasta ornament exchange. It's our last night in Italy. Always look forward to going home, but this time not looking forward to facing a sheet of ice. It was 61 degrees and sunny today.
