... figured out that we were supposed to get off at a stop that was about an hour or so back, in the middle of the route. We waited around for not too long, and ended up having the same bus driver on his route back to where we originally got on. This time, he made sure we were at the correct stop before getting off the bus. :) We waited for a while, and finally got the correct bus to take us to Feichten, where our hostel was. It is the city ...

... the road is becoming rather busy with cars which just does not seem right way out here in the wild.

Soon the road starts to climb once again and then heads over the top of a rather high mountain and there in the next valley is the large town of Livigno. The town is spread out over a large area and is just about made up of wooden buildings. It is extremely busy and soon I realise that this is more of an adventure town rather than just a town. It has all kinds of ...

Tuesday morning we drove to the Val da Camp (in the Bernina Pass). We parked the car and hiked in to Lungacqua Sac. Saoseo Refugio for the night. One of the positives of walking (and running!) is that a cup of coffee (glass of wine!) tastes so much better when you’ve worked so hard for it. A hot shower at the end of a long, hot sweaty day is appreciated so much – just imagine how wonderful one will feel after 6 days camping in Nepal!

Stayed around the campsite throughout the morning reading
a good book. A short local walk in the afternoon but managed to catch a bus
that took us right back to our start point rather than taking us further up the
valley side. Gave up in disgust, had a cup of tea and carried on with the good
    book.
