      ... are HUGE and fantastically maintained so we went for a stroll in the "backyard" afterwards. I was awestruck the entire time. I loved it! When we got back to Munich we checked out the local markets. Unfortunately there wasn't much for us to buy as most of it consisted of either food products or wood products but we enjoyed the atmosphere. We are a little sad to think that this is our last day in Munich but fortunately not our last day in Germany! Tomorrow we are off to Erding ...

      Left Munich at 9:30 pm, used the Swiss way via Basel, then Mulhouse and Pouilly en Auxois. Victor made me a nice surprise by reserving a night in the Chateau de Chailly.       The books mention that this was the route Hitler and his solders used to
      march from Odeonplatz towards the town hall market place.
      Maximilianstrasse is the high end shopping street. We walked pass these
