... ate a nice warm dinner. On the Tuesday of this week, Justine and I went to the pool and I was able to do some laps, hopefully burning off some of my food that I have eaten a lot of!! No use though because Christmas was just around the corner. ... And then I had dinner 6 hours later!! Friday took forever to finish, as every last day of school does. Something about the schools that I find so different are: If a teacher is absent, there is no substitute, so we get a free period, or like on Tuesday, the teacher was away so we got to go home at 1pm rather than 5pm. ... a book and a half and spent the days resting. I think I might have to find a gym once I am 100% better as I eat too much bread, Quiche and pastries here with little to no exercise. ... many cyclists that visit the area. Although our chateaux for the day was the Abbey of Fontevraud, only one of the team visited it. We all decided to lunch before exploring the village spare of abbey and ran out of time. Lunch was a traditional cuisine of the area - fouee - similar to a pita bread which was served with a plate of salds and meat to stuff into the fouee pocket and enjoy.
