... not often available and a veal schnitzel would cost around €50. Free time in the afternoon. Would have liked to have done the hop on, hop off S of M bus ride or the train up to the castle, or the Mozart Museum, but needed to go back to the Christmas shop we passed in the morning to get a nativity. Most of them were German made and when I asked if they had any Austrian scenes, the lady asked why I didn't like the German ones. Told her I had one from Germany ...

... rug and a bottle of Captain Morgan's! I love how summer seems to be so fully appreciated and embraced here. The stretch of approx 40km we rode today was through a valley of dense forest on each side. We passed ...

... cyclists. I plan on doing more when I get home! There's quite a few older people cycling and a number of them do have the electric bikes. I so wish I'd booked one. Tonight I asked Leslie if there were any left but there's only high ones so no good for me. Damn! It was a great day but I've decided not to cycle the route tomorrow. Another 42kms consecutively is too much, specially for my poor ...

    Back to Vienna

A travel blog entry by chel.ro on Dec 15, 2014

... curious to see if my perspective of Vienna will change at all or just be a little different after everything I've been through over the last three months. We will be in Vienna for a day and a half before we get back on those long flights home. It doesn't seem real. But it's all coming to a close pretty quickly. I guess it's almost time for the next ...
