... veg... Most of them looked like the dodgy kidnappers from Taken 2 :) After 50+ kms of cycling we finally reach Linz, the capital of upper Austria. It is after 7pm and the river banks are still packed with groups of bare chested bocce players, many friends and couples relaxing and tanning beside the Danube. Some are swimming/drowning against the strong current, others are jogging, cycling, listening to music, reading.. One lady is just sitting by the river with ...

... the earth ascended to the heavens? Magical! Joe Ahhhhh.. First day of riding is complete. We are now sitting atop an alfresco dining area above Schlogen bend. ... is going to cycle with the American people again. Dinner was very good again. After dinner we booked our excursion package. We're doing them all and the total price was 129 euro (10 euro discount as a package). Very happy with that and we should see a reasonable bit of the cities we visit. The boat travelled all night tonight and went through quite a few locks. What a fabulous invention they are. Very ...

... from the terrace was wonderful, lush rolling hills, wooded areas then the snow capped alps! We had the equivalent of a plough mans lunch, the produce was from the farm or local farmers. We had home made bread, a very tasty potato spread, different meats and cheeses.plus about five different ciders. A very enjoyable few hours we would have happily stayed. When we returned to the bus I went for a bike ride along the river. It was really interesting as everyone was out ...
