The mighty Dolomite Passes
... sun has come out in the valley below. It’s an amazing sight so let’s just hope it breaks away this mist up here also.
Soon there’s nothing but blue skies and the temp starts to rise so looks like it’s going to be yet another wonderful day.
As I make my way up this beautiful snow covered pass I as always keep stopping for photos. It’s just such a wonderful part of the world to be in.

Onwards to find the Dolomites
... in Scotland it really feels freezing.
The first 20 or so miles along route 42 are nothing special but there were a few side roads heading up to passes etc and I was very tempted to head up a few of them and take a look but eager to see the Dolomites put a end to that.
Soon the bends begin and we start climbing upwards and it’s cooling down by the minute. Patches of snow start appearing at the sides of the road and before long the temp is down to 1 Celsius ...

... this cold but we have loved to be able to see it with snow. Yes first photo, nick dumped snow over me, thanks for that, so the pussy ran when I threw it back and lost his glasses in the snow. Frantic 5mins then found hence his photo. Typical. He is trying to say he meant to have a funny photo. It is a lovely village, horse running in the meadow just over the road, chasing a dog out.We saw grape vines all the way up ...

A fantasia journy
... is becoming a bad wizard...I know I'm 31 already but since I saw this mountain this what I think about them - bad wizards...wa hah ha ha ha!!! After a few minutes the landscape changed to a green forest, I felt safe...I did the hard part!!! Our main thing today is to reach the marmolada, the highest mountain of the Dolomites, there are supposed to be 3 different cable cars leading to its top that is over 3400 m. We finished descending the mountain and reached a valley, everything ...
