A large pot being heated over an open fire filled the room with the smell of wood smoke, and had Will wanting to call Fireman Sam (his favorite TV fire hero). Later, he would report that the “fire house” was his favorite part of the day.

... guests seem to be here to enjoy the onsen facilities, you only have to site in the foyer - 90% are roaming around in yukatas (cottons dressing gown). The surrounding gardens are beautiful with 2 waterfalls and a small shrine.
