No travelling this time, just some things about regular daily life. Because in the end, that's what most of my time is spent on.
I live very close to work: in only 5 minutes of walking I am at the gates of the office complex. Simply exit my apartment to the left, pass a traffic light, turn to the right at the supermarket and then another traffic light. So normally I leave between 8.10h and 8.15h to arrive at my desk before 8.25h. As ...

It all began in Kamakura - making it a special cultural visit ...
Our flight was an 8:30 departure so we checked out of our hostel at 5:15 - yikes! We walked the cold and mostly deserted streets to the subway station. The subway fortunately starts running at 5:30 so we caught one of the first trains to an interchange station and then hopped on the airport express. This train took 15 minutes to get to the airport so we were there well within time. Brilliantly easy and cheap. Then we boarded for the three hour flight to Tokyo. ...
