Think big city. No, really big city. Multiply it by 10! Now, you're getting close to Tokyo, the largest city in the world, with a population of 36 million, most under 5'5" (or so it seems). We've had 2 days here, and we're just starting to get our bearings in this large, complex, energy-filled megatropolis. It is daunting for sure, even overwhelming, but we're determined to take a bite out of it anyways.

... down, we get ourselves a good viewpoint to see the city light up. From here we can see our ship and with the aid of binoculars we can see the movie on the big screen on deck 14! The buses start coming. I stopped counting at 30 buses. That's a lot of people especially if they all have to come down in the cable car. ... biggest. Crab we have ever seen about 4k these crabs are famous for this area but not cheap around $40US minimum each and the huge rockmelons were 35US each. Japan is not cheap. I'm sitting in this quaint little coffee house writing this blog. The weather outside is overcast around 22 C. Terry has taken picture of Hakodate but we haven't download them on to the iPad yet.
