... check in, just time to dump our bags & off we went for a walk around the town we went to a museum, a shrine, the Takayama festival float exhibition hall, we then went to the old part of town. We had a beautiful tea not far from there. When we got back from tea we had another spa, getting used to it (in the nude) still lots of laughs. It's now 9.00 and ready for bed. ... with the rain we missed seeing it, so kept walking on by. Eventually we ran into the museum (me surprised since I expected to see the park first), but that worked out fine because we were soaked through and ready to be inside at this point (despite the jacket I had, jacket Fred had, and Tyler's umbrella).

... to walk a kilometre to the Museum in the rain, as there are no shops in sight to buy a cheap umbrella.
The Toyota Museum is very interesting, especially all the working displays. Toyota did not start off making cars, but instead started life called Toyoda and was involved in weaving and spinning fabric and making the looms as well.
