The BBQ provided was simple, but excellent. For the whole trip, they were trying to make a bit extra by selling drinks, ice-creams, taking photos and so on. A couple next to us ended up with 5 assorted photos [which were of a high quality] but they didn't buy the large fridge magnet with their picture inside it surrounded by pictures of local tourist sites. ... renting a Turkish car is the best way to go ( although not a fiat I hear). One just has to be brave...and start out somewhere outside of Istanbul...and probably NEVER even attempt to drive within its boundaries...simply out-of-control! Anyway, Konya...I have picked up a couple of books that will help me understand more about who Rumi really was. I picked up a few silly souvenirs as well...and some Sufi music...we went to the Mevlani Museum ...
