Very basic accommodation but clean and very friendly staff and great room service. Look forwards to going back there again.

The hotel is quite clean but the service is very slow for dinner, the airconditioning is very noisy and goes off at night. The restauant is up on the roof and is a bit sub standard. WI fi works but is a bit slow too.

Not a bad place - clean, good staff. Bit far out for the location but easy enough to get around. Rob did experience episode 1 of Delhi belly post a chicken curry on the roof terrace - may have been the food, may have been elsewhere - hard to know! Good pick up from the airport.

    It begins

Day 1 Train, tube, aeroplane, attempts at extremely uncomfortable sleep, more than enough plane food and I am in Delhi- jet lagged but ready to begin my journey. I am travelling around the world and I am doing it alone. Arg! I ordered a beer in Heathrow departures for some last minute Dutch courage. My first stop is India which is probably the …

Last night all 13 of us headed to a restaurant called "the crossroads" for dinner. After a long day we couldn't wait for a good Indian meal. The temperature was still well over 40 degrees at 7.30pm. Scott and I both had chicken tikka - a safe option as it's dry and we anticipated this would sit well in our stomachs We were doing everything we could …

They say start as you mean to go on but luck didn't seem to be on our side after the M25 closed and we had to get a train to London Heathrow. After a 7 and a half hour flight, we arrive at Delhi Airport, India. It is 9:15 am local time, around 4:45am GMT. Stepping off the plane the initial feeling was humidity, as expected, with the temperature …

We arrive in Delhi after an overnight plane journey from Heathrow, with a baby shaking a rattle the whole way it's fair to say we hadn't had much sleep. After risking our life in a taxi, we arrive at our hotel to find we are bunking we other members of the group.....luckily it's only one night so we just agree and go meet our new roomies. Jo's …

    Hi guys,

So we have arrived safe and sound in India and our first port of call was Delhi. First things first the roads here are crazy and there basically seems to be no rules apart from beeping your horn a lot. Having said that the Indians seem to be pretty good at avoiding any accidents! After we arrived yesterday we got two tuk-tuk rides …
