      ... cream cones, boat-to-boat!

The kids got their fill of the Ringo (tube) riding - with Adam pulling them around for about 2 hours. We fished (caught nothing), and got many pics of the kids, Ryan and Kristy jumping off the top deck of the boat. It was a peaceful, fun, beautiful cove, and a great relaxing way to spend the last full day.

... a wall from an energy standpoint. I was deflated with my recurring sore muscle problem, and all of the Goodners were a little cranky after being on a boat for 2.5 weeks. It may not sound like a tough challenge (and it isn't), but constant togetherness in a confined space (even one that's 78 feet) can create a feeling of claustrophobia after a while. Gumusluk is famed amongst many famous Turkish actors, artists and musicians who frequent the bay during the summer months. We had a lovely lunch at a ...

... it and we call it 'footy-fying'. I went back to have a look at the lovely ring but decided to wait and look around Istanbul. The same for souvenirs and presents - we are holding out for the Grand Bazaar! Tomorrow we leave Bodrum and the girls were saying how much they would have liked a few more days. But for Ben and I it was just the right amount of time - a restful break with some regrouping, but not enough to get ...

... all day and I have again congratulated us on planning this break at this point in the trip. In the late afternoon, as the wind picked up and the sun started to go down, we headed into Bodrum again - this time with a bit of energy to shop. But in the end, it was much more fun just wandering the town and looking than actually buying anything. Beautiful jewellers are next door to tacky souvenir shops and copy watches and handbags are everywhere. I saw a beautiful ...
