Emden is a sea port on the Northern coast of Germany very close to the Netherlands border.You can actually see the Netherlands on the other side of The Ems Inlet.The countryside is flat and easily water inundated which is why there are many dykes to keep water out and flat cycling tracks beside the dykes.Everyone has bikes.
