Today the a pad woke me up at 6 30 am. Elisabeth skyped me, Jonas my son was there too. The video which is used this days, probably was not to helpfull, to hide my sleepiness .

... it does the soul good no matter what the rational mind or bank account says. We were out shopping until 8, we didn't even realize that it was so late as the sun was still up, it was our stomachs that made us take notice of the time. I love that, here the sunset is not until late like 10.30pm in the middle of summer and the sunsets are long, not like Australia, 10 minutes of nice colors then boom! pitch black at 6 o'clock. Was a rather chilled day today but tomorrow should be more action ...
... and families picnic. I think we will adjust well.
We walked around old town which as the longest covered shopping promenade in Europe. There are a lot of stores (some common ones like H&M, Nike) but a lot of unique shoe and clothing stores that I'm sure I will be happy to explore. Steve will like the many coffee houses and there is definitely quite a bit of alfresco dinning--we need to find babysitters!
... because we could watch the show. Really, 12p would have been better :). Just one call of the rooster, a jerk from the jester, a flip of the hourglass by Father Time and a shake of his staff, all spread apart by what felt like 5 minutes each time, but still... The last seven days - were the most relaxing and heart warming days of the trip. Days were spent in Biel, Switzerland with Liz's family. Uncle Mike, Auntie Maria, Sarah and Noah oh and Chica (the dog) - could not have asked for better hosts.
