      ... interesting: King Karl was no angel, that’s for sure. He would walk around the city with a stick with a silver ball on top. If he deemed that someone was not doing right then he’d give them a good swat. I thought I should get something like that to knock people upside the head!

      Left camp and drove into Karlstadt, where we went to the Naturum Varmland. We found a brilliant bird walk, with nesting sea gulls, geese, ducks and several bird hides, so peaceful.

      Drove to Orebro and camped in the street outside David and Maria's house, when we had last been in the snow in February. Lovely pizza dinner out with his family visiting from Aus.
