We find them in different states: some have been updated with metal roofs, some of them are completely wood,, some of them are almost bare inside, some have paintings on the walls from the 16th century, some from the 20th century, some have barock interiors, everything goes. ... Lviv and I navigated us to my hotel - the George. Alicja is staying at another one nearby (she's staying at the George tomorrow night). She's going to join me on my tour with a local guide tomorrow.

The George is a grand old hotel with a wonderful sweeping staircase. I'm in s standard room and it's absolute luxury as far as I'm concerned - I can even get the BBC World on TV!!

It's been a long day but fun since Alicja is such great company.

We're In Poland Where The Roads Are Smooth

... There is a marked difference in the quality of the roads between Poland and everywhere that we have ridden since we left Turkey. It makes for a much more comfortable ride and hopefully fewer problems with the bikes.
We are back under canvas tonight in a very nice campsite. All in all a good Monday!
