... can watch all the processes they go through to make the cheese, which was pretty interesting! We watched the cheese-makers go through all the processes for quite a while and had a drink at in the restaurant before going back to Gossau for an authentic cheese Fondue!
We got up early the next morning and said goodbye to Heinz and Elsa, and caught our 1st train to get to Prague. It took us about 10.5 hours to get there.. LOOOOOONG time sitting on trains!!
... apparently been trying to call us, but had the phone number of the team's technophobe, so he didn't realise!! They had a bit of a problem with working out where the maps we all had joined up, and following the roadbook backwards was almost as bad as going along it the correct way!! We had a Europe Road atlas in our car, so we gave it to them, on the basis that they give a donation to our charity.

... us through a shopping centre. There we spotted a couple of uniforms, which just had to be policemen, so we decided to chance our luck. When we explained the mission, they were more then happy to oblige with the photo of the team and one of them. The next question was the 'handcuffs' photo. As I was speaking in German to them, I managed to det the idea over, but the policeman ...
Vaduz, Vaduz, Liechtenstein dirtyweekenders... get to the garage where Sylvia & Keith, and Dean & Helen were waiting.
It appears they had managed to get in contact with a guy they had met on the Rally last year. He lives about 20 miles away, and had gone to them, opened his garage to do the necessary repairs, and returned them to the garage in Feldkirch. Gaz & Charlotte went on with the rest, and we spent a night in a nearby hotel, not too reluctantly, although it was a bit expensive!
... Feldkirch I got lost. Actually I was just trying to get to McDonald's because the group wanted a bathroom break and the public toilets here were not to our standards. Anyway, I drove past the McDonald's twice - once my fault and once the navigator's - and drove down a pedestrian only section of road before we gave up and continued on our journey out of town and deeper into Austria.
Feldkirch, Austrian Alps, Austria travelingdiva... can't take photos in the library and I can describe in words the beauty of the library sufficiently. Let's just say if you have the chance, go take a look.
It was time for food so we found a little cafe and had a bite to eat before tracking down my parents again. They were hungry because they had been waiting for us before they ate (oops!) so we returned to the same cafe and they had a quick meal before we returned to the car. Next stop: Austria!
... Germany) - at least I think we could. Snow-capped peaks in the month of June and my favourite kind of walk - all the way back down hill, pockets rich with rations of chocolate bars and granola. Sadly we were only in Liechtenstein for an afternoon and didn't get to visit Vaduz, so I can't claim to be any authority whatsoever - but it was a treat to visit this charming tax haven whose main exports (according to the BBC) are machinery, dental products, foodstuffs and stamps...!!
Malbun, Liechtenstein helenandeoghanCaught the bus from Vaduz Post for a scenic trip through Triesenberg and Steg to Malbun, Liechtenstein's ski-resort. Had a walk through the village past the ski runs and ice-rink to the chair lift to Sareiserjoch. Took the chairlift to the top of the mountain which gave us amazing views of the mountains and also the village of Malbun. We caught the chairlift back down to the village and then caught the bus back to Vaduz Post.
