... it's made of bricks, but it is so called because its colour resembles iron. The pagoda stands 13 stories tall in the middle of a large park. It was a beautiful sunny day to spend in the park, posing with kung fu statues and sitting by the lake. Taka was the only one of us to actually climb the tower. ... and then generally speculating about his life. Walking to school with Catherine, Andreas and Mikkel every morning, eating most of our meals together and just generally being weird together. Having a comfortable little life with an awesome group of people. I'm really gonna miss that.
But what awaits for me is hiking through beautiful scenery, experiencing new cities and minority villages, seeing snow-capped mountains, wildlife, temples... bring it on.

... travel across to Sichuan to see some national parks and climb some mountains (and see the pandas OFC), before making my way into Yunnan via the Sichuan-Tibetan Highway. I'll be spending a lot of time at altitude which isn't my favourite, but the scenery will be rewarding. In Yunnan I'll be spending time in some ethnic minority villages and seeing some more beautiful scenery, hopefully the rice terraces, Lugu Lake and Tiger Leaping Gorge. But let's see what I can fit in!
