... pretty. 3.30PM on the way to The Heineken Experience now! Tip : Don't bother buying your tickets online though it's cheaper, there's plenty of shops around Amsterdam Centraal selling open tickets for the online price as well, you get to save on card charges & not have to queue! :D 6PM really enjoy the tour! I've actually been for the Guinness one in Ireland as well and this was so much worth it ...

... and bike traffic near the Central Station but we made it! We rode 50 km. After a quick change Bob and I headed out to explore and got as far as the first museum. After dinner the whole group took a walk and a tram to take a boat cruise through the canals. Touristy but a nice way to end the week with our tour ...

I take solace in knowing that in Rome, I'm still the crazy one "with her legs ...

... Yesterday we spent the morning on the ramparts, enjoying the homages to Jacque Cartier and other sailors from the area who explored North America. The ramparts are reminiscent of Dubrovnic, but feel more formidable. We meandered the cobblestone streets and despite our gimpiness took a very long walk to Alet, a quaint village across the harbor from St. Malo. Our hosts at the hotel were very nice and exceedingly helpful. We would recommend St. Malo and our ...

Vibrant, cosmopolitan, unpretentious, fres h and friendly, that's Amsterdam! Quite different from it's neighbour Germany. There are many nationalities represented and most speak some good English. It is such a pleasant and relaxing environment.I think it compares with Venice and Paris ,not as stylish, but loads of character. The city center is filled with canals and little bridges and beautiful typically dutch buildings.Lots of cafes, restaurants ...
