At last we got the chance to spend more than a couple of days in Maastricht! My cousin Annelies and her husband Jules live there and it's a wonderful city full of history and culture. ... Netherlands fashion, it started to rain. It was interesting walking around the town, but once again most shops were closed, today being Sunday. We made our way around Brussels and on into Limburg, near the river Maas and the borders with Holland and Germany. We stopped at a nice ACSI site costing only 12e. We were both feeling under the weather and very tired - so a very early night for us!
