After a silky smooth North Sea crossing, we woke to sunshine streaming into our wee cabin. A bed, a window, a clothes peg, and a shower/toilet is the extent of the facilities. A quick shower apiece sets us up for our first day abroad. We skipped the expensive ship's breakfast, so we'll find something en-route or "make do". She has a nice room up the top of her (parents') place with a balcony. She showed us some of her uni buildings, some of the old city wall & water, where she likes to sit. We did a bit of shopping - souvenirs, chocolates, marzipan. We had afternoon tea ...

This is a much nicer town with some old buildings. But the shops so many and although they were having sales not as good as the outlets we will be visiting. We did come across some cannibas chocolate for sale and a few other strange things like edible G-strings. This town has 50 churches and many are not being used so they turn them into ...
