... confirmed all we had been told. Zurich is crazy expensive. In any case, we had two days here, so no point complaining!

Another fantastic Walking Tour had us looking far more favourably at the city, we spent a couple of hours on a free walking tour and were pretty happy to hand over a decent tip at the end. It just confirms every other experience we have had on this type of excursion. We have always been lucky to have a guide who ...

... price for a single to Zagreb from here. I did and behold the trip is €16.40 plus seat reservation of €3.50. This meant that my Interrail ticket can start in Zagreb and I only had to buy 10 trips in 22 days and due to the great exchange rate it cost me £301 including insurance. Happy days! So I can just recommend to everybody before you buy the more expensive one see if you can save some money. Another tip: as soon as you get here buy an Urbana card ...

One had unfinished statues that looked interesting and another had more locks- really seems to be a thing here in Europe! • Shopped around at the local stores and street vendors • We had to taste the winner of the best ...

... it could be a genuine possibility, that my mother would be here fishing my body from the mud at the bottom of the Danube out the window of a sunken bus. All ok though, I had within reach that window smashing hammer. Giovanni conducts a lot of amazing manuvoures with the luxury MB coach. He always gets a round of applause however, we cannot talk to him. He only speaks italian. I think he gets into tight spots to show ...

        ... their tails.

Near the university, we stumbled upon a crowded bar/ coffee shop full of students and had some coffee and drinks. Wow. The price was right. Drinks were less than half price here and it was a pretty nice place. The waiter chatted us up and said, yeah, this is as cheap as it gets. Deanne ordered a Baileys and Coffee and he had never heard of such a thing, but he bought it to us, in separate glasses. I asked him which Slovenian beer ...
