Liebe Menschen,
Bis dahin: Keep on rockin´

... It's pretty picture perfect.
Vintgar Gorge is about 4km away from Bled in a National Park. Over 100 years ago, two locals built a 2km boardwalk around and across the gorge. It’s a beautiful, peaceful walk that was a nice antidote to all of the cities we’ve been visiting. Bled and Vintgar show off the real Slovenia – outdoorsy, rustic and beautiful.
... was better. After another little walk round I had to buy some shoes as mine keep falling apart on me in the stupid weather well you should see the trainers I now have they are more embarrasing than anything in the world might get Ian to take a pic but will see!!!
Went for a rest in the room and remembered that we had not booked anywhere to stay in Austria tomorrow so we had to go out and use the internet again it had started to rain again so we ...
... tea time and after a little walking around we got to the apartment. Ian was dead chuffed as its above a chinese restaurant and he has already decided that that is where we are going for tea tonight. Maria who owns the apartment upgraded us as we booked just a room with shared bathroom but she said that she had an apartment free as it was quiet and we could use that so we have a really cute apartment of our own with ...
Bled, Slovenia traceybelle... train pulled into the station I saw him! I looked at him and asked thumbs down or thumbs up? Thumbs down was his response!! But he signalled me to just get on the train so I grabbed as much luggage as I could and started running. He was right behind me and picked up the remaining luggage and we both climbed on as he explained that the second ATM was for the same bank and didn’t accept Visa either! We had to just get on the train and take our chances. I made sure we sat with ...
Bled, Slovenia kimmykak... spoke to two couples who were next to us in a New Zealand van…they had some interesting stories of their own and we enjoyed talking with other people :) They had flown to Turkey and said that it was so expensive and they felt that they got ripped off while they were there…we had decided the day before in Venice that we would leave Turkey off our list of countries to see due to the fact ...
Bled, Slovenia armajor7... all the way from Croatia, and the fact that most of the track is double-track, all with electric cables overhead, the feat accomplished in putting it all here is impressive. That this is just part of a network going across Europe in all directions, taking you as far as Moscow, if you want, is even more impressive. Getting an all-day ticket for a city's tram system, and just hopping on and off ...
Villach, Austrian Alps, Austria jeremyhill... that you will need to take a few steps as we hit the ground.. Well, buggered that up - I landed straight on my **** - plop! We were then taken back to Bled and went in search for some dinner as it was already 7pm when we got back. We ended up at another restaurant recommended by the Lonely Planet guide and followed that up with hot chocolate and the locally invented dessert of kremsnita.. It is very similar to a vanilla slice but way creamier.. YUM!!
Bled, Slovenia flashpackers... cracking pair!". We have now spent 5 consecutive nights in a tent, which is fine, but compact. The Orange Palace is holding up well, and the campsite is beautiful, set in a deep valley surrounded by pine forests. The only downside was emerging from the tent to see a 50+ German couple emerge naked from their tent after a heavy workout. Not what I had anticipated from our trip. And on that note, We're off.
