    ... our train and said he would show us where our platform was. So I followed him with Barry all irritated. This new friend of mine was, of course, right about the platform and we gave him some change for his help. Barry was not happy....he can't believe I would follow a stranger like that.

    After not speaking to me for a bit, Barry forgave me and we had a nice train ride to Vienna. We took a taxi to the hotel which is always interesting abroad as they try to rip you ...

    ... as we still had Vinka it was easy for us to drive in each day. Trys took the boys back to finish the Natural History Museum while Mum and I went off to the Leopold art gallery to quietly ponder and nod sagely at some Picasso, Klimt, Schiele and others (and walk straight by a bunch of other stuff muttering that my dog could paint better than some of the work on the walls).

The younger crew managed to get me out for a drink, and so we hopped between a bar or two and I got a flavour for the night life, as well as their local vino.     ... Apparently, the second bus trip was two hours which Lisa tells me was most interesting. I'm only aware of 15 minutes or so as I'd been awoken for a photo at the lookout then allowed to continue my tour slumber. By the way, those paper tour maps they hand out are rather useful on rainy days when seated on a bus with a leaky retractable roof.
